Kizlyar knife Katran - "Katran" is a harmless Black Sea shark, but this knife is in no way harmless. Kizlyar has moved away from the traditional Russian style blade, hence this knife somewhat resembles the modern American style tactical knives. The thick 4.8 mm drop point blade is ideal for chopping and the slight reverse curve give it some unique cutting and slashing abilities.Knife grip is made from durable black Micarta and is contoured to provide both comfort and solid grip. The base of the pommel features a protruding lanyard hole, which doubles as a glass or ice breaker.
