A set of measuring gauges for checking the barrel bore wear of carbines in .223REM/5.56 caliber. The set includes calibers with a diameter of 5.53, 5.54, 5.55, 5.56, 5.57, 5.58, 5.59 and a no-go caliber of 5.60 mm, as well as an adapter-handle and a storage case.

All calibers in the set are made of a special grade of tool steel. Their cylindrical part is made with high precision, has a given diameter and processed to the required hardness, which allows them to be used to measure the bore without fear of its safety.

This set of .223REM/5.56 calibers allows for an objective assessment of the diameter from the rifled barrel bore fields. This set provides verification of the bore diameter in the range 5.53 ... 5.60, with an accuracy of 0.01mm. Each of the calibers has its own strictly defined diameter with a positive tolerance. Adjacent calibers in the set differ from each other in diameter by one strictly specified value. The number of calibers in the set is selected in such a way that together they cover the specified range of measurements of the barrel bore in the fields. This allows you to check and reject the barrels of such weapons with the required accuracy in the entire range of current sizes.
