Description

AK47/74 handgurd system AKARA is intended for be used on Russian AK type rifles with stamped receiver. Will fit Saiga, WASR, Arsenal, DDI. Features four mil-spec picatinny rails. Can be installed without gas tube cover. Use rubber mullet or wood to protect the finish.

Resembles Zenitco without the Zenitco price tag. Locked in place very sturdily on my SLR107CR and didn't budge when a Vortex Sparc II was mounted on top. Was pretty difficult to install the top portion, I had to file down some areas (Your experience may differ). I took away a star for that, lack of instructions, and the finish. The finish is very lack luster and prone to scratching/rubbing off giving that sort of "BPFU" look (Hey it'll match your Arsenal SLR107FR perfect because finish on those guns suck too). Overall, I would buy again though because minus the finish, this piece is tough as nails and is affordable.
